Born Rodriquez Smith, at 30 years old, he's young, business-savvy, and street smart, these are only a few words that describe the rap game's next phenomenon, RaRa. His life reads like a compelling novel about a young man struggling to survive, spending half his youth under the guidance of his grandmother and the remaining half being raised by the streets. Atlanta-born and bred reigning from the infamous Zone 3 all the way to Zone 6 , this promising athlete enjoyed football and attending school until problems at home and street temptations led him astray.
A product of a working-class family, RaRa was raised by his grandmother and the streets equally. Witnessing the lowly-behavior that often comes along with deprived living condition caused him to grow up fast, not giving him the opportunity to make a lot of childhood friends.
Instead, the self-admitted attention-craver found companionship in his older brother and cousins who as he states "were living the life I wanted to lead." Even though their hustle-by-day/party-by-night lifestyle attracted his young eyes, it was the music they listened to that intrigued him the most.
Citing 2Pac as the first artist that captured his full attention, RaRa was also exposed to the likes of Southern Hip Hop icons Outkast, UGK and 8Ball & MJG. Before long, the youngster was memorizing the raps, which lead to him writing his own.
So Instead of spending time in class, he was either on the block or in the studio, learning as much as he could about the music business. Once he was able to navigate his way around the sound boards, he began recording. Initially, his songs were just unformatted freestyles over tracks but, as time progressed, Ra began to see his potential and how much the street life didn't have to offer him.
Therefore, he studied the art of making music by observing local producers and upcoming artist. He And His Cousins then put money together to fund Their own label, Art District Music Group and They rented studio time, Although Ra’s life has been filled with many hardships, he is dedicated to change his situation and confident that his musical talent will be the vehicle that drives him into the speakers of hip-hop music lovers around the world. RaRa will become a household name that everyone will recognize through his heavy radio airplay, sold-out arena concerts, acting on the big screen, and his entrepreneurial ventures.
RaRa is a star, which isn't hard to tell by his confident swagger, his singles a breakout mixtape "HIGHER” and the die-hard fans he and his ADMG crew already have. Ra vows to live his life reaching for the top because the bottom is just too crowded.

Albany, GA born and Huntsville, AL raised are the first locations found on Digital Native3 Culture’s flagship artist Translee’s birth-rap certificate. With his talents currently in Atlanta, GA, Translee is signed to independent label, DNC [Digital Nativ3 Culture].
As a starving artist and college student at the same-damn-time, Translee met Chris Hunter- manager and CEO of DNC in college where they became roommates. Upon graduation, the neo music business hopefuls migrated to Hot-lanta in hopes of learning the music business to officially pop off Translee’s music career… the smart way. Shortly after, their efforts were noticed by Mr. Collipark who took them under his wing after becoming very interested in Translee’s music.
“He gave me an incredible opportunity to have my voice heard because he saw I wasn’t like other artists. I had a different grasp on reality and the people really connected to it.”
Translee’s 4th solo project “Cultur3 Junky” is set to sail for Summer 2014. Production props point to none other than DNC’s own, Todd Marshall. Alongside the accelerated amount of underground ears pointed to his music, Translee aims to change the perspective of Hip Hop music coming from the South. “Sometimes I think the South gets a bad rap because it’s so club driven, but everyday ain’t the same, sometimes you want to talk about God, sometimes you want to talk about drugs, sometimes you want to talk about love.” With change constantly in mind and success in his heart, Translee proves to audiences everywhere that he embodies the change he wants to see in Hip Hop.

Axiom Tha Wyze

Jordan Yocum became Axiom Tha Wyze shortly after he began to record his first tracks in 2009 with Andy O. at The College of Idaho’s studio, as well as with various other local artists in studios around Boise. It wouldn’t be until his and Andy’s 2013 release of The SmokeRoom League Mixtape Vol. I and co-current formation of both The Earthlings rap/hip-hop crew and the Earthlings Entertainment label that Axiom would begin to make big waves in the 208 hip-hop sphere.

Axiom Tha Wyze has spent most of his life in Boise and wears his rough edges with a sense of pride. His insatiable appetite for beats to tear up is evidenced by his notebooks, all filled to the brim with endless amounts of rhymes and bars. His raw, aggressive style stems from his East Coast Hip Hop influences from the likes of super-groups the Wu Tang Clan to Army of the Pharaohs while still spitting knowledge derived from KRS One and Afrika Bambaataa. This fire, coupled with a love for traditional boom-bap and independent hip-hop, sparked a strong performance on his first collaborative release, The SmokeRoom League Mixtape Vol. I.

This EP catalyzed a fruitful and long-standing relationship with Emanon Studios and earned Axiom a spot as one of Boise’s top hip-hop artists. Building upon his success, he would utilize his position as co-owner of Earthlings Ent. to help facilitate 208 Music’s Hip Hop Sundays and Rap Battles, as well as The Community All-Ages Hip-Hop Nights. Balancing business and artistry, he continues to create tracks and collaborate with a multitude of local artists. His joint-release of the track Hip Hop with Skilly Waves is a testament to the quality of work Ax continues to curate.

Ax’s short year in the game has been filled with accomplishment after accomplishment. Having opened artists including Mobb Deep, K.Flay, PsalmOne of Rhymesayers Ent., Louis Logic (formerly of the Demigodz), Onry Ozzborn of Oldominion and Grayskul, and rising independent artist Jay Tablet, have only furthered Axiom’s drive to elevate his game and reach heights attainable by only a few.

Ambition and an unstoppable, T1000-esque drive ensure that Axiom will continue to produce quality rap/hip-hop music that reaches the ears of the 208, and eventually the rest of the world.

So stay out of Axiom’s way. He will continue to grind and achieve success—come hell or high water.
